Since 1985, CBB serves as the number one source for all things Beef Checkoff. CBB works to stimulate beef demand through initiatives such as consumer advertising, marketing partnerships, public relations, education, research and new-product development. The checkoff also assesses the $1 per head on the sale of live domestic and imported cattle, in addition to a comparable assessment on imported beef and beef products. --

National Cattlemen's Beef Association

Initiated in 1898, the National Cattlemen's Beef Association, a contractor for the Beef Checkoff, is the marketing organization and trade association for America's one million cattle farmers and ranchers. NCBA is a consumer-focused, producer-directed organization representing the largest segment of the nation's food and fiber industry.
